Majid Bekkas is a Moroccan multi-instrumentalist, composer, and former teacher of classical guitar. He is also co-director of the jazz festival at the Chellah in Rabat since 1996. He has been a fan of mergers between traditional Gnaoui music and Afro-American blues and has participated for several years in various international jazz projects and festivals.
